Doing Good

We have a special connection to earth and especially the natural habitat in the Midwest.   Minnesota and the surrounding states are where much of the products we put in our boxes ultimately come from.  Especially with many of our makers being small artisian businesses we feel it essential to support the entire ecosystem that supports YouBetcha! Box.  Plus, there’s no two ways about it… it just simply good to DO GOOD! 

As an expression of our desire to do good by our local environment, we have chosen to include a pollinator seed packet in every box.  Naturally, we chose to source those seeds from a Minnesota based company.  Save Our Monarchs Foundation (based out of Chanhassen, MN) is a champion of the environment, monarchs and pollinators.  We hope those that receive our boxes will be inspired to plant the seeds of change to help support all of us.  

We seek grow our connection with companies that support the local environment, critical pollinator habitat and our wild spaces.  

The Pollinator Friendly Alliance is a rock star organization based out of Stillwater Minnesota.  They are a grassroots conservation organization. Small but mighty, they stand as a Minnesota leader in pollinator conservation. Volunteer-driven and based in the St. Croix River Valley, they advocate for pollinators in local communities and beyond. Their collaborative approach recognizes the interdependence between the health of people, pollinators and the planet.

We are in the planning stages of creating a Pollinator Box.  With almost every item in our boxes giving credit to pollinators and the local habitat it's going to be a fun challenge selecting items to go in the box.  Stay tuned for more information on that box.
