You Betcha! Box's mission is to make it easy for people to discover, enjoy and share the wonderful diversity of exceptional products made right here in our home state by small Minnesota businesses. We aim to fit as much "good' as possible into every box.

We are committed to diversity, inclusion and the environment: we strive to represent and showcase the diversity of Minnesota products and people and to use packaging that is recyclable or reusable. We include "Meet the Maker" Profiles cards for the makers in the box that share their unique and inspiring stories as well as recipes and suggested uses. Your gift recipients will love reading about the Minnesotans behind the tasty products featured.

Meet our founder, Katie Sterns

Passionate about food, entrepreneurialism, and community building

women owned business mn

I am a 5th generation, proud Minnesotan who grew up on the Eagan land homesteaded by my Irish immigrant ancestors in the 1850s. My 6 siblings and I were lucky to have woods, pond, and fields as our playground and exploratorium - right out our door! Mom steamed up the kitchen every harvest, home-canning delicious stewed tomatoes, pickles, beans, peaches, applesauce, jams … pretty much anything grown in our garden, orchard, or wild on our family land.

I have a diverse background in entrepreneurialism, community building, design and marketing. I love innovating and working with other inspiring and hard working entrepreneurs who are investing in their dreams.

I truly believe that great things happen when we share local love.

My personal passions include discovering the "authenticity of place" through travel and food. This passion is reflected through You Betcha! Box which is all about sharing the real, cool Minnesotans doing real cool things with others.

Be part of the Local Love movement!

You are invited to help us build a stronger Minnesota by choosing to gift local and support small businesses in our community. When you give a You Betcha! Box you will feel good knowing that your purchase has made a positive impact in our community, as well as delighted your recipients.

Please contact us if you have ideas about collaborating, new craft food makers we should learn about, or corporate gift givers who might benefit from learning about Share Local Love. We will be posting regularly about local food innovators and helping connect community on social media. Make sure to join us there too!

Locally lovingly yours,

Katie Sterns
